THURSDAY EVENING PRAYER
Dear Father, I wish to reflect about one man known as Barnabas. After Paul was converted, many people distrusted him but Barnabas believed in him. He took him in and trained him. The later to be Paul who was so zealous in establishing churches is a result of Barnabas.
Dear Father, in this world today, grant us many Barnabas. We have got so many people condemning rather than accepting people. Distrust begins right away from home, neighborhoods, workplaces and all spheres of life. May I find a Barnabas today.
One who despite of knowing my weaknesses will believe in me. A person who’ll preset me to the world like Barnabas presented Paul to the Christian community. A person who despite knowing my past won’t judge me but rather will empower me to embrace a new future.
Dear Father, even if the world is rotten with all evils. There still are good people . Make me a good person and help me encounter good people. May I feature in another person’s story as having helped him become a better person.
IN JESUS NAME I PRAY AND BELIEVE
AMEN
